I was just wondering the same thing a few days ago. IIRC the current ResMed AirSense was released in late 2014 so it's been awhile. Based on the last couple of devices it will probably be anytime in the next year or so I guess, but from what I was reading they are pretty secretive so don't expect to hear anything before they officially announce it.

Yep I'd concur with Walla Walla. About 5 years at a time. The probability that a new machine is introduced just before you're up for a new device to sway you to get another one is likely.

I have noticed that early, new-generation machines are not the best ones to jump into when they first come out. By the second year of production, the bugs seem to be worked out and an updated bios firmware is always in place. When Resmed released the new Airsense 10 series, they actually did the only over-the-air update to resolve a humidifier bug. While a new machine always seems exciting, I think waiting 6-months to a year after initial release is a good idea.
