New to Forum's - AHI in the 50's, yes fifties

RE: New to Forum's - AHI in the 50's, yes fifties
Yes I am aware. I was in pain mgt for like seven years high doses of opiates, then went to sniffing herion - I am now going to an addiction treatment outpatient clinic to treat the addiction. Atleast it's monitor the dose and well I am getting help in the right direction to be totally honest. My wife said that prior to any opiate use and cpap, that I would stop breathing thru the night and snore a lot she would have to wake me up to tell me to breath.
I know a lot of people look down on people that use methadone and say it's trading one drug for another, but I know I am in a better place, just need to get this cpap or whatever's needed to help me correctly sleep at night :-)

G'day My3rd3y, welcome.

Yes, you need to have eight posts up - it's a bit of a nuisance but it helps keep the spammers at bay. Once your 8th post is up it will take an hour or two for the system to process the permissions (they're done in batches).

Your post count is 7, when you hit 8, then you can post a link to imgur.
(The post count is a method of limiting spammers.)
Posting from an outside server is preferred as it takes the load off the forum servers.
Actually I think you can post the path now as long as you don't use the [url] tag to make it an actual link.
Then anyone who wants to view it can just copy and paste it into another tab in their browser.
Redact any personal information from anything you post.... it happens that people forget to do that.

No one will talk down to you regarding the Methadone. I know it's used to treat cancer patients for their pain. Only pointing out that many sedative medications have an effect on sleep apnea.

Good deal on the new sleep study date.

Kindest Regards,

Mongo

Actually, you can use the attachments as a new member. You just can't do links, which is imgur and others. So if the image is on your desktop, just upload it here.

Yeah, I see an ASV in your future. It could be the medication you are on and the Centrals are temporary. But your current machine isn't treating those and can't.

I know you want to wait to see this other sleep doc but perhaps you shouldn't wait. Get the sleep study done now at least so the data is waiting for her. Perhaps they can arrange for you a loaner machine in the meantime.
