RE: Newbie APAP Equipment Trial Journal
Some of the spikes match up with response to events. Others appear to match up with leaks.

The variations on pressure appear to be a response to flow limitations. Otherwise, this reflects pretty darn good treatment, and nothing to worry about. Your pressure needs are low for an EPR of 3. Your epap pressure is very low, and I would bet you'd see a lot more consistency in pressure at EPR of 2. For what it's worth, the need for EPR is somewhat proportional to pressure, so your minimum pressure of 7.0 leaves your EPR at 4, which is not very supportive of an obstructed airway.

RE: Newbie APAP Equipment Trial Journal
Thanks Beej, and SleepRider.

I will try dropping down the EPR and we can see what that does.

Yes, overall I am lucky that I adjusted so quickly/easily to sleeping with the tube/mask.

I really appreciate the help you (all) and this board provide.

It helps tremendously to have an experienced resource to help educate us, and calm our fears.

Thanks to all.

Thanks
