WELCOME! to the forum.!
Ramp is used to help people get used to the therapy, it's a comfort feature. Ramp is set to gradually get you to your pressure if it's on.
Once people get used to their therapy, they usually turn ramp off.
Hang in there for a better explanation of ramp than I gave you and more suggestions.

I just started to us this and have been foe a week now and I am just starting to notice a big difference.

Which model you have, Phillips Respironcis call all their machines 'REMstar'

If either of PR System One, remove the water tank first and look at the label printed bottom of the machine, should have a model number ... 550, 551 or 560, 561 with some letters next to it

Both are data capable machines, the links below provide all the relevant information
