Newbie to Forum
Hello All,

Just wanted to say Hi since I'm new to the forum. I've been using CPAP for 7 years ( I think it was called Respironics Sleep Easy). Recently I started having a lot of sleepiness and tiredness during the day and overall very groggy in the morning. I went back to my sleep Dr and he suggested having another sleep study done since this guy decided to put on an additional 25 lbs!
Long story short I ended up with a new machine, Resmed 10 CPAP and my setting went from 8 cm to 10 cm. He mentioned that 7 years ago my Apnea was considered moderate and that now is severe. I just got it a little over a week ago and the jury still out on it.

Regards,

IS

ResMed AirSense 10 comes in 4 models, 'CPAP' model is basic model, not that brilliant and not software friendly
In Australia, the price difference between the 'AutoSet' and 'CPAP' models run into few hundred of dollars, but only few dollars in US
The advantages of the 'AutoSet' can run in either straight pressure or variable pressure (2 machines in 1) so can, increase pressure a little bit for things like sleeping on your back, going into deeper stages, or dealing with some stubborn apnea

AirSense 10 Series Identification:

[should say "AutoSet, AutoSet for Her, Elite or CPAP"]
