I think the biggest thing where the pill combo would be most useful is a scenario such as Sleeprider mentioned. An alternate to carrying the CPAP when you camp or travel. I'd think if kept to a short period of time, maybe this may be acceptable. But, for most hosers who have higher untreated AHI this likely can't be counted as a permanent substitute.
