Note re: Respironics unheated slimline tube
Ok,
At the end of February I put the PR Sys One Auto 560 into service.
I used a brand new Respironics slimline 6' tube. Last week I tried to take the tube off the mask and the humidifier.
It was a bear. It was almost as if the tube had melded with both the mask and humidifier plastic tubes.
I finally ended up getting them off, but it was almost like I had to roll them back off the plastic tubes. Took two hands a gorilla grade strength.
Going back on I dipped my finger in talc powder and very lightly rubbed it inside the tube ends, hoping to prevent a repeat of the earlier adhesion.
So far, they give me no problem coming off. We'll see going forward.
