Now my son needs help

RE: Now my son needs help
I think the fixed pressure results speak for themselves and for some users a fixed pressure is less disruptive and results in better sleep and results. I have no problem with using autoset mode, but wanted to establish that this pressure range would resolve all the events we saw on the Philips Dreamstation. Variable pressure can make it more difficult to evaluate efficacy. If you choose to go to an Auto mode, I would probably limit the range at 7 to 10 with the EPR, but I fail to see what that might gain unless things change from this last baseline.

Three nights in a row, good results. Found out after night two that he was still using the collar.

So last night I asked him not to wear it. His results went up to an RDI of 1.1, so still very acceptable. Looks like no collar for him for now.

Happy days.

Sleep tight,
Damian.

How can a brand of CPAP make that much difference? I have asked this question many times. I live in the town where Philips Respironics is designed and built. I really wish it did better, but wishing doesn't get the job done. I'm really glad your son found a solution he can live with and thrive.

Thanks for the hundredth time for the help you've provided.

I'd best go and buy shares in Resmed now.

Damian.
