OSCAR -AirSense 11 miscomunications?

OSCAR -AirSense 11 miscomunications?
I been recording OSCAR 1.3 DATA  since Thursday 22 July 2021 with no problems until Wed 27 Oct 2021 when the DAILY OSCAR data is not seen. However, it came back the next day  for Friday 29 Oct 2021 and I was happy again.
But then same thing occurred with last night's DAILY OSCAR DATA (Saturday 30 Oct 2021).
Both times that this happened, when I tried downloading the data,  OSCAR sent this message:"ResMed File structure for a AirSense 11 Autoset (22211117523) was located at :   E:\       Would you like to import from this location?"...... as usual I said yes and hit the bottom but no download occurred.
MyAir has the uploaded data for both nights..... and so does the Airsense machine on its small screen.
Thanks for suggestions on what is going on and how to fix it

How long after your sleep ended did you remove the SD card to import data into OSCAR? We've seen a report that suggests the AS11 may not write data to the card as quickly as the AS10 did.

Try importing again after several hours and see if it works now. Let us know what happens.

For some reason, I remember someone posting that you need to power down the AS11 while the SD card is out of it, otherwise it won't mount it.

RE: OSCAR -AirSense 11 miscomunications???
Thanks Guy.
I been downloading AirSense 11 OSCAR data since 22 JULY 2021 with OSCAR TEST first and then OSCAR 1.3.0. Win 64........ Until Wednesday night data, did not download on Thursday morning around 9  AM.   I usuallly download between 8:30 and 11 AM every morning.   I usually check the small screen of the device to confirm I have data from the night and then bring it to my computer's UBS port and insert the SD card into it.
Firefox tells me it recognizes a USB port with a SD card in it.    This is the same SD card that came with AirSense 11 machine.

Crimson;
I have taken the SD card out of the AirSense 11 almost every day for weeks.   Some days I take it out and reinsert it back 2 or 3 times a day and the machines accepts  it with out complaints.
If by power down you mean remove the power cord so the machine is left without electricity? ....No I have never done that as it has worked very well in the past without having to do that.

That is the problem.......It worked well for weeks and the for 2 days it does not download the data into my computer through the OSCAR software program.

I took the SD card 10 minutes ago from the APAP device, put it in the computer USB port and got the same report from OSCAR as in my original thread above. Returned it to the device........ waited for the device to recognize that the SD Card was back on in it  again...... and the data became visible in the small screen as before.       Huh

For what it is worth...  That has not been my experience (but there are a lot of variables, so I just offer this as one data point).

I was "uber-careful" when I first started using the AS11 (9/23/2021).  I would power it off before removing the card, then power on only after inserting the card.

After about 10 days of that, I got lazy....  And started removing and re-inserting the SD while the AS11 was powered on.  No problems with it recognizing/mounting the card, and I've been doing that every day for over 3 weeks now.

Also...  There is a Blue "card activity" LED (just below the card) that shows read/write activity.  When I stop therapy in the morning, I see that light flash rapidly for a second or two -- which I assume is the machine updating the card immediately at end-of-therapy.  I can't confirm that, of course, as I normally don't remove the card until about 30 minutes later (after showering and getting dressed).   But since starting on 9/23, and pulling the card ~30 minutes after therapy end, Oscar has found/imported the data 100% of the time with no issues. I haven't experienced the problem @SleepyHenry described.

Another test I did out of curiosity...  I don't know how much data the machine stores internally, but putting an "empty fat32 format" SD card into the machine results in an empty data structure being created -- and nothing else.  No previous night(s) data added to the card.  Admittedly, I just put the card in, waited 5 minutes, and pulled it out -- I suppose it could do something different if the card was left in for the next therapy session.

ScottZZZ that is exactly my experience with the A10 autoset and the A10 vauto both. When I port my data over to a new card I pop it in the machine, let it write the skeleton file system, then copy over the contents of the DATALOG directory from my computer backup into the card's DATALOG folder

RE: OSCAR -AirSense 11 miscomunications?
Darn it no data from OSCAR today!.
Waited 2 hours after I got up to remove SD card...then put SD card into USB port and imported OSCAR as usual....Imported 3 times .....But no Thursday data at all......ZERO!
Didn't do anything different today from yesterday......This never happened during my years with Respironics machines......So I believe I have a routine that I follows daily and I am extra careful lately. Only new program is Windows 11.   Any advice?
Thanks.

Since you are dealing with a Beta OS, I would not blame OSCAR just yet.  Have you verified that the data is actually on the SD card? Also, since W11 has its underpinnings in Linux, which OS version of OSCAR are you using?

RE: OSCAR -AirSense 11 miscomunications?
@SleepyHenry - Could the SD card be having issues? They do go bad at times, resulting in a variety of symptoms (slow writes, errors writing, errors reading, etc.).

I don't think anyone has enough experience with AS11 yet to know whether it would report such errors (like an error message on screen, as it does if you insert a write-protected card) or just ignore the failures.

Perhaps try a new SD card tonight, to rule that out?
