High Tidal Volume, any possible side effects.

High Tidal Volume, any possible side effects.
Hey. Recently went to RT at insurance and they were surprisingly helpful. They gave me some new masks for leakage and said that the only thing of concern was high tidal volume. They said that this could cause lower CO2 levels and could cause central apnea. If there are no central apneas from this present throughout my data, could this high tidal volume/low CO2 levels cause any side effects such as microarousals during sleep or anything else I would wish to avoid?

How high? Tidal volume varies in a wide range between individuals. If low CO2 was a problem, I would expect to see high central apnea events in your results. If your PS is 7 as suggested by your profile, that is very high compared to tolerance of most individuals. How did you get to such a high PS?

Around 600 with p=7 ps=6, I bumped it down to 6 about 2 weeks ago, no clue why I set it to 7

Nothing wrong with Vt of 600. How tall are you, and ideal weight?  Here is an old example of mine:

Here's my BPAP CA trainwreck flashback to '17, with median tidal volume of 600 and supposed Max 4120?!. I was about 5' 11" and 245 lbs. then. And with COPD.

Talk about overachiever. Coffee
