OSCAR Beta Release Testers Needed
We can always use Beta Testers

Anyone interested in joining the beta test team should read http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php..._Beta_Test for more information on beta testing and what we are looking for in beta testers.

if you are interested in helping us out please PM Gideon (that's me) and I'll add you to the list and open up our Beta forum to you.

OSCAR v 1.3.0-Beta2 is the current Beta release, 1.2.0 is still the production release.
This is not a public release, there will be issues that will be found and all of them will be addressed and evaluated and most of them fixed before the public release.

Your task would be to exercise OSCAR and identify issues that we have missed.

This new version of OSCAR contains support for the following new devices.
We NEED to test these new devices to make sure we got them right and to make sure we didn't break any of the old ones.  Also to unearth issues that we are unaware of.
  • [new] Add preliminary support for ResMed AirSense 11 CPAP machines.

  • [new] Add support for Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle CPAP machines.

  • [new] Add support for DeVilbiss BLUE (DV6x) CPAP machines.
and in the near future the new Philips Respironics DS2 (we are actively working on it).

  1. We do take all issues seriously so as much as possible

  2. Say What you tested

  3. What went wrong

  4. How to repeat the results (if you can)

  5. Post Screenshots for clarity
.

RE: OSCAR Beta Release Testers Needed
Read post#6 above.

OSCAR is always looking for good Developers, translators, and Beta Testers.
Our Beta program is not intended for early users. Beta versions can have significant issues. This one does. To the OSCAR user a beta version that a production release is coming shortly. Shortly means as soon as we are confident that there are no major issues, and most minor issues are gone. Sorry , no dates, but the intention is to get a solid version out as soon as we can.

Note that the DS2 is currently not included just so this release is not delayed, it will follow as soon as it is ready.

Again, please no early user requests,
