Correct it said I can't post URLs until I have at least 4 posts. So I pulled the .'s out. I believe that I have enough now to directly post the link.
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
After seeing your video try this, hold the SHIFT key down and start OSCAR. Try the import then.
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
I held down Shift and double clicked on the icon to open it. Same thing happened and nothing changed.
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
Your video made it appear like it was your graphic card causing the error. The SHIFT function causes the graphics rendering engine to change to the software version as opposed to the OpenGL version. Thank you for trying.
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
I'm not familiar with the CMS50DA+. What is it's firmware version (displayed at start-up)? Does it use a micro-USB connector? Also, what is the name and version of the software for reading the data into Windows?
I have a CMS50D+ with firmware version 4.6 with a micro-USB port, and it works with the CMS50F37 protocol selection. There was an older version which used a mini-USB connector which used the older CMS50 protocol.
There seems to be a new hardware (and firmware) version of the CMS50F and Contec may be upgrading their whole lineup.

Hello Pholynyk,
I had purchased this one from Ebay.
[Commercial Link Removed] Search eBay for item #: 264682192336
I don't see an option anywhere on it to get the version. On power up it just says finger out and SpO2 Assistant doesn't seem to tell me anything about it.
It has a Micro USB connector and manufacturing date on it is 4-2020.
The imports that were successful, do say Oximeter Information: 50D(A)+ and on the session says CMS50F37

RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
Same thing today when I went to import last night. I'll look around to see if I have an older laptop I can try with but unsure where to go from here. Is there an issue tracker or anything on Github?
(To Moderator: Sorry about that. I thought that meant more don't include deal tracking stuff for kick back [and that isn't my listing.] Won't happen again.)
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
fwiw, I am having direct import problems with a CMS50F37. I'm planning to use SpO2 Assistant and importing from disk until these issues are resolved (which won't be until after the 1.1.1 release).
RE: OSCAR Crash on Oximeter Import
Since you were successful the first two times, is there anything that might have changed. Things like, System update, You had deleted previous sleep data from the CMS-50, you're importing before the CPAP data import, the stars were in alignment, or it was full moon?

It is only six days past the new moon!
