OSCAR Installation Issue (Windows cannot access the file) [resolved - see post #6]
I am running Win10-64. D/L'ed the installation file and attempted to install. I got past the Windows and Avast protection screens but then got the error: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I get this message even when I attempt to run as an administrator. So I have been unable to install.

RE: OSCAR Installation Issue
Have you tried running it from a directory with no space in the name? for example c:\OSCAR
Just curious to see if that is the reason.
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

Have you tried temporarily disabling Avast?

Thanks so much. I disabled Avast and the installation went smoothly. Was able to install and import my SleepyHead data with no issues. I really appreciate the efforts of the folks who worked on this program and all those who keep this board going. Bob
