OSCAR Oximetry settings has no effect on SPO2 event number

OSCAR Oximetry settings has no effect on SPO2 event number
Hi All,

I have a Wellue O2 ring, when I load the binary file into OSCAR, and look at events.. No matter how much I change the SPO2 percentage and time settings under oximetry, and then reimport  the data - the number pf pulse events and SPO2 events remains the same??

What am I doing wrong?

thanks for any comments!

I don’t understand the question- the ring ONLY reports your oxygen saturation and the Cpap is NOT giving you more O2?

Hello,

There is no CPAP, I only have a ring... trying to understand how the event numbers are calculated from looking at the times on the waveforms and it does not make sense..

thanks..

Those oximetry options in the Preferences menu were put in during the development of SleepyHead. They were never connected to anything in the code.

You can try using the O2 Insight Pro software for the ring.  OSCAR is great for consolidating the data from your xPAP and oximeter but the oxy data has always been a little strange.  Since you aren't using a CPAP yet try the other software and see if it works better for you.
