Ver 1.1.0 is undergoing beta-2 testing at the moment, so it shouldn't be too long. I can't give a specific date, though.

Does OSCAR check for updates when it's run? I don't see any option to force it to do so...just wondering.

Currently release is 1.1.1 The developers are working on an a feature to check for updates when OSCAR is run but it may be a while before it's released.

The current version of OSCAR is 1.2.0. We recommend upgrading from any earlier version.
