Oscar data
Hello! I have been using oscar to collect data on my resmed 11 for about a month now and I have taken screen shots of my last nights usage. I was using my cpap and having no issues for a few weeks prior to starting oscar and I started because I felt like I was having some issues with my cpap now. Waking up a lot more during the night, waking up tired, waking up in the middle of the night and wanting to take my cpap off. I use a full face mask, had been taping my mouth shut because I would wake up super dry and sore- even with the humidity up. I have bought a nose pillow type mask but have not used it yet. Any insights would be greatly appreciated- I just want to sleep well and be rested!

RE: Oscar data
For starters, set minimum pressure to 7.0 and leave the rest of the settings alone. A minimum of 5.0 with EPR at 3 will not allow the full exhale pressure relief, and leaves you short on pressure. The main problem appears to be flow limitation, so higher pressure or pressure support is needed. It's possible you're using more than one pillow or are sleeping in a position that allows some chin-tucking, and that is causing more obstruction.

RE: Oscar data
Thank you!
I did try putting my min pressure up to 7 previously and had some issues with it but I will try again. I use one pillow, I have chronic neck pain so I can't sleep with more then one. I do have my bed inclined like 5 or 6 inches to help with my gerd issues as well. I probably do tuck my chin in my sleep, I know for sure that if I end up on my back my jaw falls back (considering getting a chin strap)
Thank you for the input! I have a sleep study in two weeks with my cpap as well.
