[Equipment] InvaCare Polaris EX

InvaCare Polaris EX
Hi, my InvaCare Polaris EX has recently stopped blowing out air like it was before. I also just noticed that the spongy filter is missing from the back. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems there is an air flow problem. Could my machine be stopped up with dust?

Don't know much about the machine you are using, but you should get a filter as soon as you can.
How long have you had this machine?

If you feel that it is not blowing the same pressure as before, then take it to your DME or where you purchased it to have it checked.

Hi OpalRose, thank you for your reply. I've had this machine for over 10 yrs. I don't have insurance so I've been hoping it will hang in there for a while longer. It's not really a pressure issue, it's more an air flow issue. My son said he can try taking it apart to see if it's clogged up inside. I sure hope we can resolve this soon because I'm lost without it!!

Hi NiceGaPeach,
I checked with Supplier #1, listed here on this board at the top of each page, and I found some supplies for your machine.
I noticed that they had the foam filters, and the white fine filters and they have their name on them, not InvaCare. I didn’t see the machine there, just several supplies.
Good luck on your quest.
