Alan, I'm just wondering if you're able to download the data to other programs, such as SpO2 Assistant?
Alan R Baker, I had the same problem; SH couldn't "see" my oximeter though the OS had a window open into it. I just went the route
trance mentioned and used that crappy SpO
2 non-Assistant.

Can't use the sPO2 Assistant to download anything to. That program only works with Windows, not with a Mac. Thanks though for the suggestion.
Still stuck with my CMS50F and dead in the water.

Alan,
Do you access to a Windows machine, just to test your CMS-50 with it?
RE: Overnight Pulse Oximeter for Mac/apple/iphone
Regrettably no access to Windows machine.

If you search using the phrase, "How do I test my Serial port on Apple MAC OS X?", you should get a return to us.brainboxes. They have a video and a link to freeware for this test. Because of ads on the site, I'm unable to provide the link.
I hope this may help.
