Oximeter Normal Graph

RE: Oximeter Normal Graph
A referral to a pulmonologist sounds like a good path for you. A complete Plethysmography report and an echocardiogram w/doppler are great tools for conditions such as yours so that all bases are covered in the least amount of time.

These procedures are more important than a sleep study at this time.

Thanks, Dude! Pulmonologist has me scheduled for an echo and pulmonary stress test day before the sleep study. Should be good to go!

I'm glad to hear that! Now you're cookin'.

Good luck with the tests and hopefully you can get to the bottom of this and be able to get some much needed rest. Sometimes doctors don't take patients seriously enough when the complaint is lack of sleep so don't be afraid to squawk louder if they don't seem to be listening closely enough.

78% while running is not a good sign. Yes, the pulmonary specialist is the first stopping point. This may have absolutely nothing to do with sleep apnoea. Best wishes for your testing.

Some good news for you. My oxygen levels were in the low 60s at times when sleeping. Daytime oxygen at rest low 90s. I started cpap then added oxygen to it. After several months my oxygen levels started to rise. I am now in the lower normal range when awake. I still drop into the 80s when sleeping but I have more energy and fell much better. I believe that the cpap and oxygen has helped to heal some of the damage. Hope you get good sleep and heal.
