RE: PLEASE HELP WITH MY FIRST SLEEPYHEAD SCREENSHOTS
I have been increasing the pressure gradually and also using a cervical collar recently and now I get different type of events.
Whereas in the past I used to have Hypoapneas mainly, now the colour has changed to purple and I get "Clear Airway" which I think is centrals
Should I be concerned? Am I pushing my luck by keeping on increasing the pressure?
Any feedback from the experts in this forum would be much appreciated
Thanks a lot in advance.

You have so little of it I wouldn't worry about it. You could decrease EPR from 2 to 1 if it really bugs you.

RE: PLEASE HELP WITH MY FIRST SLEEPYHEAD SCREENSHOTS
As you pass the optimal treatment pressure for obstructive apnea, central events will appear and eventually become dominant. While this is not a harmful level of CA events, this is a sign you have reached your limit for pressure and need to back-off. Your desire for zero events is an irrational compulsive obsession...(there i've said it). Smile

Reduce your pressure to where both obstructive events are minimized, and CA events are not the majority of apnea. Make yourself comfortable, and that is the best treatment you can achieve. Even if events are not zero, find where you sleep and feel best.

Into

Increasing pressure to chase that elusive zero appears to have resulted in more leaks which would affect optimum therapy. Zero AHI is not worth it as more is lost than gained.

I agree you should reduce pressure to where there will be no Obstructive Apneas and leave it at that.

Happy sleeping.

RE: PLEASE HELP WITH MY FIRST SLEEPYHEAD SCREENSHOTS
Once again the experts of this forum were right. I decreased the pressure back to 13.6 and here are the results:

RE: PLEASE HELP WITH MY FIRST SLEEPYHEAD SCREENSHOTS
It is hard to imagine the morning headaches are related to the CPAP therapy. You appear to be gettin an uninterrupted full night of sleep and a siesta. Assuming you are not having oxygen desaturations, you have to look elsewhere for cause. There are many potential causes for headache, and a chronic morning headache may indicate Migraine.

There are good articles on the internet related to "chronic morning headaches". https://www.google.com/search?q=chronic+...e&ie=UTF-8
