Resp Tx of data from SD card + 1 misc. item

Resp Tx of data from SD card + 1 misc. item
Questions have arisen about a means to transmit (Tx) data from the Respironics SD card to your computer without the necessity of transporting the card to/from your card reader, insert in your computer, back and forth, etc. ad infinitum.

One thorough forum article spoke of software and related necessities as an alternative which to my knowledge is not Mac compatible (perhaps I am mistaken). This device discussed below is platform independent.

In any event, Phillips offers a Bluetooth Accessory Module ("BAM") that plugs in the back, appearance same as, but not to be confused with a modem, Resp. P/N 100200B, HCPCS Insurance Code A9279 available from <Link removed> for $50, higher prices at other suppliers. Be sure to verify compatabilty with your model Resp. machine listings shown.

FREE SHIPPING. Reader reviews point out that as many of us have experienced, ordering from them is faster and less painful than dealing with the insurance DME.

TUBING CLIP Also, other threads have discused frustration with mask tubing entanglement. This supplier offers a tubing clip device that fits the tube and has a clip to clamp to the bedding, hopefully keeping it from entangling you in use.

I see you are using PR's analytical software. If it's anything like Resmed's ResScan, then it will only read the data straight from the SD card. If you wish to remote the data into your computer, then you'll need to consider switching to SleepyHead. SH will allow reading the data from any folder of your choosing. The use of Sleep Master software and a SD card with built in WiFi. will complete the connection. The exact WiFi SD card specification needed is listed on Sleep Master's site.

If, indeed, you are trying to use software that will take input only from the SD card, then an alternative way might be to keep an SD card in your computer's reader, use whatever transmission mode to take and copy the data to your computer, then copy the data from your computer's folder to the appropriate locations on the SD card. You can then allow the analysis program to find the data on the SD card in your computer. A few extra steps but it allows you to keep the card in your CPAP machine.
I use SleepMaster and Sleepyhead on a Windows computer. I have used Encore Basic but Sleepyhead is a better choice.
