Persistent stobborn Leak Rate

Persistent stobborn Leak Rate
I'm still having Leak Rate problems despite using Somnifix tape that appears to staying put till I remove it. It seems nearly impossible that the leak can be a mask seal problem, it fits like a glove and I test it by rolling around in the various sleep positions I use, and I can't make it leak during testing. I have a homemade hose hanger and rolling over DOES NOT pull on the mask. Perhaps the relaxation of the tissue in the mouth/upper throat change when after I fall asleep, and that is enough to cause a change in pressure and a leak?

My Flow Rate variations correlate perfectly to the Large Leak plot.

Anyway, I'm stumped.

My AHI is low, last night I had only 1 RERA event which occurred during a high Leak Rate. I have OA's, but only AFTER I woke up, while was still in bed, so I assume they aren't legitimate sleep issues.

Previously a user suggested I might need a a Resmed VAuto or a machine offering ASV algorithms and also that I might need to breathe in a little more CO2 using a larger hose volume and an outboard (relocated) vent.

Despite the lack of events during sleep, I still feel like crap during the day. I can only suspect arousals, which happen often enough to keep me out of deep sleep.

I have asked for a formal sleep study, waiting.

I should also say that my zoomed in flow rate shows many changes in the flow rate plot rather than a consistent pattern. But these (possible) anomalies do not register as events or errors.

Tonight I am going to try a more aggressive mouth seal method-don't ask.....it's not safe. But, I HAVE TO KNOW!

With regard to the Leak Rate issue, does anyone have suggestions?

Plots attached including a zoomed in plot showing the lone RERA event and an example showing one of the many possible anomalies that occurr each night without producing events.

RE: Persistent stobborn Leak Rate
To me they do not seem to be mouth leaks.  When I have a mouth leak it is of a long duration and a flat top graph.  These are not very long and not really a flat top.  I would think it is a mask leak.  I don't know how you would address it, and it does not seem to be causing that much disruption to your sleep.

Gosh, I would die for a report that looks that good.
