Phillips Remstar Humidifer
Good Day

The controls for the heated humidifer are not showing up on my Phillips REMstar Plus C-Flex machine any more. Also the humidifer isn't getting hot any more. Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks in advance

It is possible that the humidifier has been disabled in the clinician menu. The manual is available via email from this site. Follow this link and scroll down to section 3 for instructions. You can access the clinician settings by highlighting settings and then hold down the select and ramp button for at least 5 seconds.

welcome to the forum.

first, unhook, detach and unplug everything you have. leave it apart a few minutes, reassemble and plug it in. see if that helps. if that don't help you need to talk to the place where you got it. you don't really know if the unit itself or the heater is bad, if something is bad.

you're welcome. reboot is a term that i think came about with the advent of computers and modems. little did we know it works for many other things, we've been doing it for years and didn't know the name. LOL......

Yep, Bill is right.

I always tell my friends and family who have computer issues:

REBOOTING solves 90% of all computer problems. Smile

That said, it probably woudn't hurt for you to also get a copy of your clinician manual as Rritch suggested... it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I had a similar problem recently with my Phillips Remstar System One...the humidifier stopped heating and I noticed a blinking humidifier indicator light. The medical provider switched the humidifier to see if it was bad but that didn't make any diffrence so they gave me a new control unit. It works now.
