Well, clinical data for at least one person: my father.
- Caused himself his own brain damage due to lack of oxygen, he was declared legally incompetent so I became his legal guardian
- Caused his own heart valve damage
- Was so tired that he walked bent over at the waist which caused the retina in one of his eyes to become detached, he had surgery on it and it detached again
- He would fall asleep at the dinner table and his face would end up in his food
