Hi,
Your Machine is set to full face but your profile says nasal pillows. Is your machine Misconfigured or is your profile out of date?

Have you tried the higher pressures recommended?

Hello!

Thank you for letting me know. I am now using a Dreamwear Full Hybrid Mask instead of the nasal pillows. I decided to make the switch to the full face mask because after countless times taping my mouth I would wake up in a panic and just end up ripping the nasal pillows off. I also have a deviated septum and enlarged tonsils so I was probably starving myself of air.

I will update my profile to include the full face mask i'm using now, thanks!

Based on my most recent OSCAR data, do you advise any pressure changes?

IanD, I looked through this thread, and the coaching you have gotten is very good. You have even had some 0.00 event nights. I don't think changes in settings is your need, rather you need to get more time in therapy. You seem to have a lot of expectations from therapy time ranging from 4 to 6 hours, and the truth is, that is not a lot of sleep. You have had excellent coaching, but it's time to try to up your game to at least 7 hours of sleep per day.

Thank you Sleeprider for taking the time to review and offer your perspective. I agree the coaching has been very helpful and i'm grateful for all of the support! Since i've made a conscious effort to aim for at least 7 hours of sleep, i've noticed a positive difference in how rested I feel compared to my usual 6 hours, so thank you for that!

I've attached my OSCAR data from a few nights ago. On that particular night, I woke up gasping for air and had to remove the mask. I'm unsure whether I should make adjustments to the minimum pressure settings or if I should leave them as they are for now. Also, i've been experiencing a terrible burning sensation in my eyes which I think could be from a potential leak. I'm not for certain if its coming from the mask or from the air in my bedroom... will need to do some more investigating.

I appreciate any feedback or suggestions.
