Please help with treatment review
RE: Please help with treatment review
Last night I had much less leakage than when I posted about 4 days ago...I may hold off on buying a mask. (or buy it and store it...)

Hi.

I might be able to help with your chart set up.

If I am correct (I'm pretty new myself), move the bottom two charts down, the advisors don't need to see these.  Then you can move into position the ones they do want.  (Unless they have already requested this set up, then I apologize for butting in).

Hope my 2 cents helps.  Shy

Regards and good luck!

Helps a lot. Although I'm computer challenged.
I used to have it set up right...someone suggested a different setup, and I messed it up.

I think the issue may be the size of font I've chosen...I'll see what I can do tonight on my computer.

You've helped a lot! Thanks!

RE: Please help with treatment review
Someone here asked to see something in my OSCAR charts and I rearranged them.

My question back then when I made the changes was, "is something being neglected in my treatment?" I was diagnosed with severe... and restless leg syndrome almost 40 years ago.

My new sleep doc increased my setting so I would have the opportunity to experience more deep sleep; curative sleep. I've increased my pressure since then. He doesn't know. My sleep study was about a year and a half ago...

My action isn't foolproof. With life's events some nights are hell. That's life. About 2 days I week I feel rested. That's a lot better! I never felt rested in over 30 years of treatment.

Those leaks are insignificant. When you start getting a consistent leak above 12 that goes into the 30’s and 40’s and you can’t stop it then it’s time for a new cushion.

That’s my criteria for swapping cushions. I’m only 115 days in so far so I don’t have any experience yet with the longevity of cushions but the only reason I changed cushions is because the cushion that came with the mask was defective. The upper left part of the mouth cushion on the F30 didn’t form correctly and the edge would dig into my face when it inflated.

Can you post another screenshot with the OA on please. From your screenshot above that looks like restorative sleep to me. Also if you sleep restlessly have you considered a pharmaceutical remedy for that. I usually have anywhere from 6 to 10 post arousal centrals every night, even with no other events. I’ve said in the past that gabapentin would increase centrals but I had some left over from last year before I got diagnosed with sleep apnea and I took 2 just to see and it actually works and let’s me sleep without shifting around several times a night. Now I only have 1 or 2 centrals a night that barely get flagged because they are only 11 or 12 secs. I’ve read recently that it’s a bad idea to take gabapentin. I think it comes down to an individuals body chemistry just like with any other drug. If your body reacts negatively to it then stop taking it. It’s helped me greatly and my GP has no issues with me taking 600mg a night.

It was up to 70...
I wash my face every night. I washed my mask thoroughly and had 70....my DME is 2 hours away  or I wouldhave bought a new mask.
Someone (not here) suggested a cream. Put it on...managed to get it in my eye at morning wake-up! Stung.! Laugh's on me. Magically  No I'm not going to use the cream again.

Here's my latest.
OA is turned on.

I checked the order. I thought I had successfully changed it before. I hadn't or somehow hadn't saved the order....

Looking at my bed this morning--tossed and turned. Thought clearly not a good night's sleep.
