Please help with treatment review
RE: Please help with treatment review
Leak rate was excellent until 02:20 then it remained elevated the rest of the night. I suspect that may be your answer to when the mask strap slipped.

RE: Please help with treatment review
Thanks Sleeprider.
I'm so impressed that the N20 kept me going with one strap off.

I'll use my brand new LARGE N20 tonight. That longer strap will be further back and away from the edge of the Knightsbridge dual strap at jaw level. Hope so anyway.

Sleeprider, good pic of your dogs!

Question...do you use ResScan? And Oscar?

getting better
Feeling:
-good (shorter sleep; taking Jeep in for new steering gear! Finally!)

Changes:
-Brand new mask. N20 ResMed  LARGE (other has a medium headgear)
-bottom strap now completely clears the Knightsbridge dual strap.  It stays on

ALSO
-I put the Knightsbridge on and did up straps when I was lying down.  Made all the difference.  It stayed in place.  Previously, when I lay down to sleep with the KDS, it moved lower on my forehead; didn't fit as well.

Feeling better--strange reading on apap
Good morning!

I had a good night's sleep.  But CSR?  I don't remember seeing that before.

Mask
-new N20 large (works so much better with the strap

Knightsbridge Dual Strap
-worked well last night

Pillow
-large down pillow (maybe a problem?)
-I've used this for the last week

-other choice is a CPAP pillow (would it be better?)

What is Cheynes Stokes Respiration?

Thanks for your help!

RE: Please help with treatment review
Don't worry about a CSR flag. In your case it is just detecting an oscillating respiration rate as shown in your tidal volume and minute vent. Overall the therapy has been looking very good and your new mask seems to avoid most leaks.

CSR?

It tells me what it is, sort of; but it doesn't tell me how to prevent it.

Dave, read the definition of Cheyne-Stokes Respiration in our wiki http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Definitions  and the wiki article with that title http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...espiration

This is CSR:

This shows me sleep last night. It’s the report from my Garmin watch, showing Motion.
Is this helpful Does it provide clues about improving my OSA treatment?

Watch is a Garmin Vivoactive HR

I'm aware that I move a lot when I sleep.
