Poor Sleep in the Early AM
#11
RE: Poor Sleep in the Early AM
I think this respiratory trace will be helpful to your pulmonologist. I have seen this before and have even seen it treated with ASV which paces the respiration and maintains an effective vent rate. If you look at 05:15 to 05:16 the tiny rapid breathing is not enough to effectively ventilate, and the respiration patter at 05:40-05:50 looks like someone scribbled on a piece of paper. I'm glad you will be getting a professional consult. It would still be helpful for you to organize charts as I described earlier. Flow Rate, Mask Pressure, Respiration Rate, Tidal Volume and Minute vent (See Oscar View menu, advanced view)

RE: Poor Sleep in the Early AM
To SleepRider,

I recall that you mentioned my respiration rate is over 40 and unstable. I looked back at my Oscar data for the past week. The last 5 days shows respiration rate 95%  at 50 and 99.5% at 50. Med was either high 30's or low 40's. Prior to that, I have nights with as low as 27.60 for 95% and 40.00 for 99.5%.

My appointment to see Pulmonary Dr is 7/12/22.   Any suggestions what I should in the meantime?   I am feeling relatively fine and slept ok last night. See attached. Feel fine today.
