Popping sound when starting machine

RE: Popping sound when starting machine
Maybe it is the anti-asphyxiation valve.
Thanks everyone.

RE: Popping sound when starting machine
I have heard (been awoken by) a similar loud popping sound on 2 occasions  when wearing a Resmed N20 nasal mask. Always on the inhale. At first I thought I was creating such a vacuum that I was sucking in the sides of the mask causing it to make a crackling sound. But feeling around there was no such deformation. Then when I listened to the sound it did resemble a small amount of fluid being sucked into a straw, so I figured it was related to droplets of moisture in the tubing. My humidity was set rather high back then (7) and there were visible droplets in the  mask and along the length of the tube. Just a thought.
