Presidential election.

RE: Presidential election.
Fred, those of us that voted in person know our votes were counted, and can't quite fathom why states like Michigan, Nevada and PA can't count the votes in-hand and are basically putting the election on hold for a while. Why? This is not a Trump decision, it is the governors of those states that appear to be cooking the books again. Your choice is your business, but just because your state can't properly conduct an election is no reason to slam Trump. We are all entitled to fair elections and to know the results. Election day is over. I want my life back.

RE: Presidential election.
Well, this is going as I thought is would!  It may be awhile before we know.  But whoever wins... we need to accept and move on.

I have never been a supporter of Trump and am disheartened to see the division he has caused in our great county.  And yes, there has always been unrest, division and racism, but it has increased since he has been in power.  I fear with his re-election, he will be more unchecked and out of control than ever.

Bonjour, I agree with you.  My husband served in the Military, he didn't dodge it like Trump.  My father "volunteered" to serve in WW2, as many of my uncles did.  They were not losers.

Biden is not perfect, no one here on this earth is, but he has my vote for many reasons.  And yes, I am a proud Democrat, but have voted for three Republican presidents over time, because I felt they were the better candidate.

As far as Trump declaring victory and not wanting all votes to be counted is desperation on his part.  Not to mention the total disregard he has for the democratic process.

Whether you voted by mail, absentee or in person is a personal choice and should be respected.

I voted by mail, but decided to hand deliver my ballet to a drop box, because of Trumps interference with the USPS.   My vote was received and counted within two days.

Granted, going forward some states need to review how they process and count votes, but that doesn't make the process fraudulent as the President states.

Election Day isn't over even though we would like it to be. The process is fair and will take time.

RE: Presidential election.
For myself, I voted for Trump. I could not vote for Biden and his policies that aren't talked about in great detail. But the things that have been gathered in is increasing taxes, destroying our oil industry, and enacting socialistic things such as Bernie Sanders and AOC with the Green New Deal and giving free stuff that is never free. Raising taxes to pay for the free stuff is expected. Biden also will either tax gun ownership or some other infringement on our 2nd Amendment rights.

I also considered Biden's perceived handling: of the border, of his support for abortion, and the COVID lockdown, which affects my freedom of religion rights in the sense that we'd be locked down in our homes and not permitted to gather for church service.

I made my decision to vote on how each handles things politically only. Biden is much closer to a socialist than Trump. So in a sense my vote for Trump is also a vote against what I do not like in the political things Biden represents.

RE: Presidential election.
There isn't much difference between the two old man, as far as the direction they'd take the country. Yes, Biden is more presentable, but there was no way for me to vote for him. That does not mean I've voted for Trump, instead wrote in Tulsi Gabbard/ Andrew Yang.

As for the socialist things... We have a social capitalism, where corporations' losses socialized and profits are private... In my view, social services should include people as well...

BECAUSE THE REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT IN THOSE STATES REFUSED TO ALLOW ANT FORM OF EARLY COUNTING

Why?  This is not a Trump decision
IT WAS TRUMP'S DECISION TO STOP COUNTING THE LEGIMATE VOTES
it is the governors of those states that appear to be cooking the books again
IF ANYONE IS ATTEMPTING TO INFLUENCE THE VOTES COUNTED IN THIS ELECTION IT IS TRUMP.  IT STARTED WITH HAVING THE PO PULL SORTING MACHINES FROM MANY "DEMONCRATIC" STRONGHOLDS. THEN PROCLAIMING THROUGHOUT THE CAMPAIGN THAT THE VOTE WOULD BE A FRUAD.
.  Your choice is your business, but just because your state can't properly conduct an election is no reason to slam Trump.  We are all entitled to fair elections and to know the results.
IMHO THE BEST WAY TO ENSURE FAIR ELECTIONS IS TO GET RID OF TRUMP.

RE: Presidential election.
Early November is finally upon us.

I have seen a lot of hate spewed in recent days about a man who is a winner and overachiever... but that is what the people who support him like about him.   Yes, he's been caught in some lies and maybe twisted the truth a little but he's still out there proving his haters wrong time after time.

Some people are just jealous of someone who is successful and has money.
And to boot, throw in a very attractive, foreign underwear model who is at his side and they hate him even more.

You may not have wanted him in his role, but he's there now and there's nothing you can do about it. I know it’s possibly just going to get worse over the next several days, but like him or not.......

...Tom Brady is turning things around in Tampa.

I noticed something odd while watching the election coverage last night. For some reason, Biden states get called when just 112.39 per cent of the votes are in.

Radio news said PA only had 1.4 or so votes to count yet. It was a misspoken statement, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Commonwealth of PA run by Wolfie has to take a few days to tally 1.4 more votes.

Yes, he is... on the other hand...

True to past history, the NY Giants is still TB11's kryptonite. During regular season, Brady barely escapes the Giants with a win, just like last Monday night game. If it wasn't Jones' (QB) bad decision, the Giants would have won the game.

Where it counts most, during the playoffs, the Giants always won. As Eli has stated, "I don't always win Super Bowl, but when I do, I beat Brady"...

RE: Presidential election.
I do the early ballot by mail in AZ. I dropped it off at one of the authorized drop off spots manned by the county recorder's office. This was Friday morning. I was amazed there was no line and I sat and talked with the young ladies there for about 5 minutes. The only question they asked was if I had signed the inner envelope. There were no other cars while I was there. They gave me a slip of paper with the web site to check the status of my ballot. I did verify tit was received and accepted by the county recorder. It was in batch T6 to be counted.

Over the years when I was in the AF I had voted absentee many, many times, even when stationed in Japan. I was a squadron voting officer a couple of times as well. It is one of those stinks you will never get rid of. One of the things we learned was absentee ballots are supposed to be handled differently than other mail in ballots according to US Code (can't remember what part of it).

But, we shall see what passes. What will be real interesting is Prop 207 passed in AZ legalizing weed. I was shopping Sunday and the potato chip aisle looked like it had already passed and gone into effect.
