[Pressure] ASV AirCurve 10 helpless with interpration

ASV AirCurve 10 helpless with interpration

First Thank you for such a great forum. I have just started reading and reading, but I would like understand the graph of my ASV treatment....

I have a complex apnoe. (weight 190pound, height 173cm, Age 46) My previous treatment with a resmed AirSense 10 AutoSet did not help (I had also still more than 10 AHI and if I remember correctly at a pressure of 12).
So I changed to ASV (Resmed) with ASVAuto-Setting and

Min EPAP: 5.2
Max EPAP: 12
Min PS: 3
Max PS: 15

->The technical person told me that the maximum pressure (Max IPAP 27) is too high (For my age and therapy). Why?

I had only a short night and after waking up I have difficulties to fall asleep again, but when I'm sleeping the sleep is now much better. So what I would like is to sleep more(Longer) of if I wake up the I would like to fall asleep again more easily.....

Any recommendation to adjust what and on which direction?

Thank's for every input, explanation and helpSmileSmile

Andy

Try imgur.

Your EPAP wanders from 5.2 to 12 to treat obstructive apnea.
The IPAP spikes up to ventilate you during a central event. So, your max pressure can reach 12+15=27.
That's sounds high; but, I do not know why it would be considered too high for your age and therapy.

From what I could see on the low-res image, it appears the therapy is effective.
How were your settings determined? By a sleep study where they adjusted parameters while you slept?

I have a sleep study 8 years ago with a CPAP device (I have seen that the pressure was from 5-12)...
Thanks'

Morphin is correct. One can only do an a cpap related attachment until 8 posts are made.
Then a link to an image hosting site link imgur or photobucket can be used.
I forgot about that limit -- it's to help limit forum SPAM.

My sleep is much better. Nevertheless I think there is room for improvments. Or maybe I have to accustom to this settings?
