[Pressure] ASV optimal settings
#11
There is no periodic breathing according to Sleephead. Last night showed zero. My new settings seem to have eliminated the periodic breathing.

Again look at your PS (pressure support). Too much can cause CO2 washout and periodic breathing.

Rich

That doesn't seem to be the case here. PS is very low, never exceeding 3.5, so the maximum PS and IPAP are irrelevant in this case.

If my count of events is correct, there are about seven hypopneas in ten hours of sleep, for an AHI around 0.7. Clinically, you are "treated". The question now is "how do you feel?"

I feel pretty good! I still wake up 3 or 4 times per night but overall am feeling much better than I did while on cpap. Thanks for your input!
