RE: Newly diagnosed OSA - Which ACPAP
Hi Manju
On the face of it your therapy is working perfectly! The only caveat is that sometimes (rarely) the machine can report a zero AHI in error. To make sure, reboot your machine by unplugging it from the wall socket and wait 30 minutes before plugging it back in.
Assuming this is the correct result (and it looks like it is), then your machine is working exactly as it should. It has stopped all your apneas (and at a relatively low pressure) and your leaks are fully controlled. You've gone from an AHI of 70 without the machine down to zero with it. It's unlikely to remain on zero and you should expect a little variation from night to night, but I expect you will continue to have low AHIs from now on. The real question now is "How do you feel?"
