Pressure increases for no reason?

RE: Pressure increases for no reason?
Check and make sure all your event flags are turned on. There's a drop down menu on the lower left side of of the charts.

Your pressure is set to 8 to 20 cm pressure. It would really help if you minimized that calendar by clicking the triangle in the date line, and the pie chart (in your case smilie face) is hiding a lot of useful information. It can be turned off in the menu File/Preferences/Appearance, and uncheck the pie chart for events.

Flow limitations are causing pressure increases. Since you have no events, set your maximum pressure to 12 for now and let's see how it goes. We have a lot of members that experience flow limitations, which is often a byproduct of upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS). Their machines tend to increase pressure too much and provide little benefit. Limiting the maximum pressure puts a lid on that.

RE: Pressure increases for no reason?
As others have accurately pointed out your machine is likely raising pressure in response to Flow Limitations. This is clearly seen when looking at the pressure increases in relation to Flow Limitations. Although you have no recorded events you could have mini apneas that don't qualify as real apneas because they don't last the required 10 seconds. To me they are just as disruptive to quality sleep since they are arousals. In order to see if you have any of these go into SH and turn on the User Flags 1 and 2. Go to File>Preferences>CPAP and check the box called Custom CPAP User Event Flagging and the box Show in Event Breakdown Piechart. You will then need to close and reopen SH so it redoes your data to include this info. I am using a previous version of SH so it is possible your menus may be slightly different than mine but after doing this let us know if you have any UF 1 or UF 2 events. The defaults for both are 8 seconds. UF 1 - 20% restriction from the mean. UF 2 50% restriction from the mean.
