Problem with ReScan after installation

RE: Problem with ReScan after installation
In case it has not been said (and I am too lazy to scroll through to see), any changes you make needs time to prove or disprove itself. One or two nights is not enough. We usually recommend at least a week between changes, preferably longer. No two nights are the same and what may seem like is working one night will bomb out the next.

It's not an easy life, being a hosehead.

RE: Problem with ReScan after installation
I just ran into this error ("pure virtual function call"), with a fresh install of ResScan 5.1.0.8731 on Windows 7. This worked for me:

Right-click the ResScan shortcut, select Properties, and on the "Compatibility" tab, select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Compatibility mode, then click OK.

The program now opens for me.
