Problem with gas (farting)

Problem with gas (farting)
Hi!

Been using my cpap since 4 weeks. The last 3-4 days I have woke up with a lot of gas and farting a lot.
I do have problem with my reflux.
Has anybody else have this problem? Will it dissappear over time?
I did not feel anything the first 3 weeks and I do sleep a lot better and wake up feeling great.
Could a full mask help? I have read that the problem is that you are swallowing air, and that seems to be common if you like me have reflux problems.

Please give me some good advice since it is not so funny waking up like this with my wife beside my in bed...

RE: Problem with gas (farting)
I have lowered my min. pressure to see if that helps. It has reduced the gas, not gone but better. In a few days I may reduce it more.

Fine tuning as life goes on. Okay

Hide the baseball bat from your wife and let us know how you are doing.

You have a very wide pressure range set. Time to optimize. I think you low pressure sets you up for pressures higher than you would otherwise see, so the answer to your problem is going to be to start with a minimum pressure equal to your nightly average. This should let you cut back the maximum pressure a fair amount. Feel free to post some data if you want help.

My wife is ok. She did fell of the horse, but is feeling better today.
I post 2 pictures from sleepyhead of the 2 worst mornings.

Don´t now if it tells you much? I will see my sleep specialist on Tuesday, any advice what to talk about then will be good. In sweden where I live all configuration and changing on the machine is done by the specialist.

Minimum pressure is too low and allowing numerous hypopnea and some flow limitation to occur. Look at the snores! This is simple to fix. I would set minimum pressure to 7, and might even go to 8.
