Provigil and sleep apnea
Provigil (Modafinal is the generic) is the original. Nuvigil was introduced when the patent on the Provigil was running out and is slightly different. The Modafinal should be a lot less money than the Nuvigal. Everyone is different in how they react to drugs (and how drugs interact). I have found that the Provigil/Modafinal works better for me then the Nuvigil formulation. Bit of trivia which may or may not be true - supposedly the drug was invented as part of the space program to help the astronauts be sharp with time shifts they went through.

I just received a letter from RiteAid pharmicy about Provigil. It seems there is a proposed
settlement in a lawsuit regarding the price paid for this and the generic versions of Provigil
purchased between June 24,2006 and March 31, 2012 .
