Pulse Changes missing in Overview OSCAR 1.2.0
#11
RE: Pulse Changes missing in Overview OSCAR 1.2.0
I am using the Resmed supplied oximeter.

Initially on trial from local Sleep clinic.

Then because of my history and paranoia I bought my own.

Air 10 Oximetry module.
22374 oximeter.
Nonin 8000  medium soft sensor and cable.

Supplied and purchased ($$ ow!) from Resmed.

(I am trying to find a correlation with the number or PR changes per night with all the other variables.)

Ouch!!!

I have only seen those mentioned once or twice. Hopefully someone experienced with that module can give you more insight than I can.
I have only used the CMS50F and (now) the Wellue SleepU with OSCAR.

Your idea seems like a good one but I've found that the changes are very nondescript. So many things can trigger a change event that you would need to assign a cause to each one for any meaningful data analysis. Rolling over, the dog jumping on the bed (especially if you don't own a dog), an itch, or pain can cause a change event.

I would be very interested in reading your findings as your research progresses. Please keep us informed.

Good luck!

For the record: I just checked my invoices and equipment and I want to correct these details:
1. Resmed Oximetry Module 37302 Air 10 plugs into side of the machine.
2. NONIN XPOD Model 3012 LP plugs into the Oximetry Module.
3. The Pure light Soft Sensor 8000 plugs into the XPOD.

The 22374 I think refers to the clip that holds things together.

Just closing this loop.

As you so correctly indicated this is a futile quest.

I set Pulse Rate changes to 15 over 10 seconds.

Looking at my data from 2020 there is NO correlation between Pulse Rate Changes and
Headaches.
Palpitations
EPR
Med EPAP
Max Press
Vt.

Too many other things interfering here.

One less thing to track!
