I quickly changed to a full face mask to stop that problem.

Please work at getting SleepyHead installed.
As others have indicated you have the widest of settings, It will take time for your machine to react to an event. To get to your BEST therapy you need to see how you react to events and pending events. The members here can help you dial in your treatment. Fred

RE: Question: How to cure exhale forced by CPAP machine?
A number of us are mouth breathers and have had to work to change that. You might be similar.
The most useful thing I've used to help keep my mouth closed is a soft cervical collar. I also practise the 'tongue suck' method where you gently push your tongue against your top teeth so it touches the roof of your mouth. After a while this becomes a sort of default position and you breathe more and more through your nose during the day and this translates into what you do at night. |
