Question about sedation
#11
It is possible to use specific nerve blocks to help manage pain and reduce the total sedation required for the procedures. This is something to discuss with the dentist and/or anesthesiologist.

Last surgery was 4 1/2 hours under. Doctor used nerve blocks and light sedation. I did fine this time and the other 5 this year. All the doctors have been aware of my cpap use. It has not been any problem.

I did have one surgery put off when they were not sure. I got to another hospital and it went fine.

All of this has helped, not much fun but better days.

Looking for another year of challenges.
