Questions regarding System One BiPAP AutoSV (DS960)
#21
RE: Questions regarding System One BiPAP AutoSV (DS960)
I apologize for not chiming in to answer questions posted to this thread before now. But after 10 months with the Resmed VPAP Adapt, I'm still grateful for the day when my DME let me switch from the Respironics. While the Respironics may have more settings, for me the Resmed is just more comfortable. As I said before, the way that the Resmed provides the individual burst of air is not startling to me like the Respironics was. It really doesn't bother me at all and can be almost comforting, like naturally taking in a deep breath.

Since the switch, I almost never check the data (like maybe 4 times this year) and frankly, I'm not worried about it because it just works.

My recommendation is that if there is any way to try both devices, you should do so. For me, it would be a sad day if I had to go back.

Best of luck,
Mark
