Quick APAP machine sorting out

Quick APAP machine sorting out

Looking to buy an additional machine out of pocket, need some guidance please.

Lets ignore cost for this exercise.

ResMed:
Is the AirSense 10 the replacement for the S9? Meaning newer tech and platform, or is the apparently beloved S9 its own unrelated thing?

Phillips:
Is the Dreamstation tangible better than its predecessor? Yes better package etc, but is it quieter/better breath cycle than its predecessor.

RE: Quick APAP machine sorting out
I used an S9 for my first 3 years on PAP. It was a very good machine.
The Airsense 10 is the new model, shinier case and if you get the auto for her model it has some additional new algorithms.

The same is true in the Philips line, but I am not aware of any new functionality in the dream station line. I have not used either of the new machines in question so the folks who have will chime in to correct me if I am in error.
