RE: Really? Man on the moon.........??
I agree that we most likely did land on the moon in reality. The chances of that being faked are very small (possible, but small). There are numerous other conspiracy theories that have been proven, at least adequately enough for me.

The problem here is that some people like to lump all conspiracy theories together and ridicule them all. When people do that, it's clear that either they are not thinking clearly, are too lazy to read documented evidence, or they are knowingly spreading falsehoods for whatever reason.

No doubt there are conspiracies, but I suspect fewer than a lot of people think. And some of them are BIG.

The landing happened on Sunday, so what were you doing at school? Are you part of this conspiracy? I think you must have been watching a rerun. Agreed

I was sitting at the picnic table beside the pool in Fullerton California and enjoying a cold can of Colorado kool-aid when the live event unfurled. The touchdown took place on Sunday afternoon, July 20th at 1:18 pm, PDT. The first foot to touch the moon surface happened six hours and thirty eight minutes later at 7:56 pm PDT.

Those are the actual times that were faked by the conspirators so the only part in all that I can testify to is the fact that I was enjoying Colorado kool-aid at poolside in sunny Socal at those times. Okay

Fullerton, eh. That would explain the WA6 prefix.

Yep, and I had a K9 that I got in '59 before that. OTC member but no longer active. Never thought I'd ever say that but computers took over my interests in '84 (prev. exp, @ Western Elect. as programmer in '59) and the ham rig has been silent ever since. Sold the TS-520 and never looked back. I think the buyer was going to put it on the Citizen band. Annoyed-and-disappointed

I was having lunch with Elvis Presley and Bob Woodward. We were discussing how to set up a great conspiracy where a bunch of guys would be accused of breaking into a campaign headquarters somewhere.

The peanut butter and banana sandwich was great.

R_G, It's almost worth having apnea just to get to hear...read the blarney on this site. That is not to say I don't also respect the serious opinions of some of the most prolific blarney producers since wit and wisdom often travel together.

I consider your posts as "Bless Your Heart", 'Precious" and priceless types most of the time. Sometimes they are even knowledgeful knoledgeful ...er um...intelligent and helpful.

All the best & long may you rave! Laugh-a-lot Good-work

Provincial American! ;-)

It was Monday July 21, in Australia. They landed at 6:17 AM Australian east coast time where most of the population is. He opened the hatch around 12:39 PM.

I might be an hour off on the exact times, but I think Sydney is UTC+10.

If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

RE: Really? Man on the moon.........??
I didn't know they had T.V.s in Australia! That explains everything. The T.V., the sandwich, the school - those are real items and prove the mission was real. Too bad about Aussies being so much older than as Yanks. Who knew?

Now lets move on, since you have embarrassed me quite enough, what about those Vile Vortices I hear so much about? Is it possible that there are those huge deposits of ISO 26 located at those sites and it is slowing the earth's rotation and will eventually wipe out the magnetic field surrounding the earth? That supposedly will allow the sun's solar wind radiation to fry all of us.

That sounds like a worse threat than global warming caused by CO2 produced by humans burning fossil fuels. At least we won't be to blame for it. It's all about aluminum and how it reacts when exposed to a magnetic field, especially a moving one. Who knew?

ps. Some guy named Eddy Current has something to do with this.
