When you just put the SD card in, without SleepyHead running, can you see and access the SD card drive?

Linda there may a problem with the SD card reader or its drivers. Easiest solution if it is not reading any SD cards is to buy an inexpensive USB SD card reader. My desktop has this problem, and I just gave up on the internal drive that came with the machine.

Crimson Nape, the computer isn't recognizing the card. It doesn't show up when I click on the icon to properly remove it.
Sleeprider, I will borrow my husband's card reader and see if it works--hadn't thought of that as a test. Thanks. Now hopefully I can get thing going on my laptop (see link a few posts back). Will use the card reader here also. Linda

RE: Reloaded SH on PC--somethings wrong!
I want to end this thread once and for all but need to update it. I made a post on my other thread (pertaining to my laptop which seems to have another problem). I started over, reloaded SH and put in my newly purchased card. Nothing. Clicked on the icon for the card removal in the lower right tray and clicked on Devices. It showed a mass storage device (SD card) but indicated I needed to troubleshoot. I did and it installed new drivers--and now the PC recognizes the SD card like in the old days. It wasn't the card at all--something changed and I ended up with 3 SD cards all of which work now, even card #1, the original, which I thought had some external damage. I loaded the new SH version with card #2 (new) and statistics only go back to mid February. Tried card #1 on this installation and it does the same thing--goes back to when SH was loaded after the troubles started. Do you think I can get all my original statistics (from Sept 2015) back if I take this SH off and start over, but load with card #1 which did go back to the first day--that might have been my mistake. I didn't back up my original installation anywhere. I appreciate any help the computer literate folks here can provide an old lady that not technically inclined!

In the Import tab of SleepyHead's preferences there is an option titled "Do not import sessions older than:" with a drop down menu. If it is selected make sure the date displayed in the drop down menu is the date you want SleepyHead to start data imports from.

Thank you. That solves one of the problems, others persist.
