RemStar Auto A-Flex: Control wheel fault?

RemStar Auto A-Flex: Control wheel fault?
Respironics System One (60 Series) RemStar Auto with A-Flex (561P)

It works fine except the control wheel/push button only works to push (flow on/off), but not to select. ie it turns but does not change between Therapy, Flex, Setup, Info. So it's on Therapy and I can use it, but I can't change any settings, and I need to.

The machine is 4 months old, sat in the one spot, not dropped etc. I thought it might be some sort of "lockout" in the software but there is no mention in any manuals. Nothing on the internet.

Supplier says send it back. Just checking first if anybody else has experienced this.
ie is it a really a fault? or is there an easy fix?

It should be warranted, send it back, but see if you can get a loaner or replacement first so you are not doing without.

This sounds like a problem in the control wheel connections or main board. I would get a replacement as soon as possible under warranty.
