Removing Mask Unconsciously
#11
To add a twist to this (I'm a newbie myself)... I've had recollections of waking up thinking that it's about "get up time", feeling wide awake, taking the mask off, hanging the mask on the bed head (which requires some effort), turning off the machine..... then waking up again when it's daylight, with a moment of confusion as to why I'm maskless, only to very vaguely remember what happened hours earlier. The data from the machine I was on at the time this started occurring seemed to point to this happening about 2 to 3 hours before my usual wake time. It seems to have passed now, but during that phase I was waking up full of beans even when I should have been getting up thanks to the massive improvement in sleep... now, I'm back to needing coffee to get my eyes to open.
I definitely wouldn't rule out any of the suggestions above - there are nights mine has come off that I don't recall too, and I'm still fighting with masks.

When I wore the full face mask I would claw at it at various times throughout the night. Using a nasal mask I hardly even know it's there.
