ResMed AS10 and F&P Simplus FF mask compatability (edited)

Thank you for your reply. "Full face mask" is selected.  The "AB Filter" setting is turned off.  Something I don't understand: My ResMed AirSense 10 operates without knowledge that I had been previously using a F&P Icon+ Auto; how would having a different humidity level with the F&P Icon+ Auto affect leakage reported by the ResMed AirSense 10? Thank you again.

Where do you find this info?  this is great!  Thank you.  Max Prescribed Pressure is 11.  If I'm interpreting this chart correctly, does this mean the excessive leakage reported by the AS10 is simply the result of the exhaust flow rate designed into the F&P mask...but that I can't block any of the F&P's exhaust holes (to make sure that all the exhaled CO2 is expelled from the mask) and that it is just something I must live with and not worry about?

The Icon probably allowed for a larger leak rate before calling it a large leak. You probably always had a lot of leaks before it just wasn't counted on the ICON.

Thank you, Walla Walla.  Your reply is helping to confirm what I am starting to believe, thanks to info from Sleeprider. You all have been very helpful. Thanks again.

I'm tending to think Walla Walla is right. The 2 machines are calculating leaks differently. Therefore, they display differing leak data.

It's good that you're confirming what I'm also tending to believe. I was getting pretty worried.  Thank you, SarcasticDave94

So, with respect to those charts, is Exhaust/Exhaust Flow the same as Leak Rate?
If not, what is the formula to calculate the Leak Rate?

Many thanks!

thank you.  I wanted to do that but I couldn't find a way.    John

I think the exhaust rate for the Simplus is greater than the RedMed AS10 expects; therefore, it is regarding that "excessive loss" as a leak. [Image: 1f914.png]
