SD Card Corrupt

SD Card Corrupt
Yesterday when I inserted my SD card into my computer, I forgot to lock it.  Today, when I inserted it to download the data to Sleepyhead and Dream mapper, it said my card was corrupt.  I have Windows 7 OS and my machine is Phillips Dreamstation.  I tried to reformat the SD card, but that must not have worked because it is still showing as corrupt.  My question is, can I just get any ole SD card from Walmart?  or must I contact my DME to get a specific SD card?

Thanks!

It is a standard SD card anyone will work, you don't need a lot of capacity.  8GB would be lots.

TinaD,
You might check to see if your DreamStation has the ability to format the card and if so, try it.

You might try to put that card in your computer and format using FAT32. When the freshly formatted card is re-inserted in your machine, it should put all the stored data on the card. If a new card is needed, the above answers are correct. It should make no difference whether you lock the card or not. Only the Resmed S9 was sensitive to index files being written by computers.

RE: SD Card Corrupt
I tried again to format the SD card in my computer and I believe that it worked this time. Not sure why it was showing as corrupt this morning. Yesterday I did insert it into my computer without locking it first and I also changed the provider settings on my cpap machine, so I wonder what caused it? Anyway, hopefully it will be good now. Thanks, guys!
