ResMed AutoSet 10 question
The "humidifier cooling" sign is flashing on the screen of my machine. As far as I know, I don't recall it doing that before.
I've now been using my CPAP for six months. I woke up this morning and emptied the water that was remaining in the water reservoir. When I was done drying it out, I returned it to my bedside stand.
I checked the AHI reading and that was when I saw it flashing. It's been over 30 min. now, and it's still flashing. I checked my owner's manual and verified that it is the
humidifier cooling icon / emblem.
Not too sure what to make of it? I'll give it some more time to see if it goes off. Anyone else experience this on their ResMed 10 AutoSet ?
I reinserted the water chamber back into the machine. It's still flashing.
RE: ResMed AutoSet 10 question
You're allowed to unplug it if you want the cooling cycle to end.
RE: ResMed AutoSet 10 question
It stopped flashing. All is good!
RE: ResMed AutoSet 10 question
It should flash for awhile every time you turn the machine off. While it's flashing, you should be able to confirm a gentle flow of air. This is just the cool-down cycle.

Okay, good to know. For whatever reason, I've never noticed it flash for such a long period of time. It was almost an hour before it stopped flashing.
