ResMed Mirage Quattro mask cleaning
For the last year I used the Amara View Minimal contact face mask. I like it but I decided to buy a Mirage Quattro mask so that I could switch back and forth between masks if my nose gets irritated from the Amara View. My question is about the cleaning of the Mirage Quattro. The booklet says to disassemble all the parts for cleaning. Does anyone do that ? Is it necessary to take it all apart for cleaning ? I would think that just removing and disassembling the cushion would be sufficient for cleaning. What do the rest of you that use this mask do for the weekly cleaning ?

Sometimes I just rinse the entire mask, assembled, (without the headgear) in white vinegar; rinse; and let dry. (Sometimes I use a drop of Dawn dish soap.) Admin Note:

RE: ResMed Mirage Quattro mask cleaning
When I clean the whole mask (once an eon or so) I disassemble all of the parts of the mask. Other than that, I just wipe the cushions with Pampers baby wipes. In fact, I would recommend using only the Pampers baby wipes on the cushions even when washing the rest of the mask but that is just my take on it.
Best Regards, PaytonA

Thanks for your advice justMongo and PaytonA. I thought the cleaning instructions as per the booklet were rather extreme. I guess the company is just covering all bases for liability purposes.
